Wrong specification causes early failure

Hydraulic hose leakage often begins with the wrong specification. A hose may fit the machine physically but still be unsuitable for the pressure, impulse, temperature, fluid or routing conditions. These problems may not appear during installation, but they become visible after the equipment works under load.

For example, using a lower pressure hose in a high impulse circuit can lead to cover cracking, reinforcement fatigue or fitting blow-off. Using a hose with poor oil or temperature compatibility can cause the tube to swell, harden or crack.

Poor assembly creates weak points
